While we have some great events and they are the most visible way in which we make an impact, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The true heart and soul of Social Butterflies exists not in monthly meetings but in our daily conversations online where we share our lives, challenges and discoveries.
We are happy to announce that this online community just tipped over 500 members!
About Us
Social Butterflies is a warm and welcoming gender queer community that formed in January 2022.
We meet monthly at Wheat, Wine and Whiskey in Collingwood. Social Butterflies promote a safe, friendly and respectful space for trans, gender fluid and gender questioning individuals to connect.
Whether you’re new to presenting as your true self or you’re a seasoned community member, we’re here to support you.
While our group is mainly comprised of trans women, we welcome trans men, non-binary folks, and allies. Supportive partners, family, and friends are always invited to join the fun too!
