About the server
Launched in late 2021, the Social Butterflies Discord server is the true home of our community. Rather than seeing friends monthly and losing contact, we communicate daily on a wide range of channels spanning from fashion, comedy, nerdy interests, trans healthcare and other trans life issues.
This regular contact has enabled stronger friendships and bonds within our community. Additionally the ability to share information, advice and knowledge has empowered the community to grow.
Rules
This is an invite-only space dedicated primarily to trans-femmes and non-binary people. Allies must be invited by a Social Butterflies community member.
As our events occur in a licensed venue and there is NSFW content behind a consent barrier, please no minors. This is a 18+ space.
No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia. Please be respectful of everyone here as we are all on our own journeys.
Seek enthusiastic consent online – Please respect consent and seek it out. If you want to send NSFW content in a member’s DMs, please ask them first. Note there are NSFW channels that can only be accessed by opt-in.
Seek enthusiastic consent in person – At our events, please ensure any physical touch is wanted. “Yeah ok” is not enough. Have that physical contact only with those who actively want it.
Consent is –voluntary, informed, specific, current and can be withdrawn at any time.
